All families have that one pet that leaves a mark on their hearts forever. For me, that was Roxie—a sweet boxer pit mix who loved everyone she met. She was my constant companion, rarely leaving my side or, for that matter, my lap.
Swimming was her favorite pastime. If she wasn’t at my feet, she was splashing in the water. I don’t think I’ve ever known a person or dog who could have more fun in a lake than she did. I can still picture her floppy ears dripping as she proudly emerged from the river, having just given herself a “bath.”
Tragically, she fell ill at two years old. It all happened so quickly—I wish I had acted sooner, but to this day, I still don’t know what went wrong. Within just two days of showing symptoms, she passed away in my car on the way to the animal hospital.
The hardest part is that I only have a handful of cell phone photos to remember her by. Still, Roxie’s memory and the imprint she left on my heart will always be more vivid than any picture could ever capture.

This amazing couple is so amazing! The communication was amazing and when it came to taking photos, they were extremely professional and caring. The photos of my babies came out so incredible, it brought tears to my eyes. I definitely will be coming back for more incredible photos! Highly recommend!
